The Lillie-May Page Charity



Rain did not stop a Charity fun raising day going ahead at The Shepard's House Pub in Woodley Reading.


The days events were to raise funds so Clair Page can carry on her good work in buying Hart Defibrillators Clair Page Started up the The Lillie-May Page Charity when here little five year old girl died from hart failure in the School play ground at Willow Bank School in Woodley.


Mum Clair says the Defibrillators can only be brought though the hard Charity fund raising events that local people support us in doing, her aim is that every School in Berkshire will have a Defibrillator This will save a child's life.


So we pop along to the first Lilly-May Page charity event held at the Shepard's House pub in Woodley Reading, there was face painting the for children The Pub Manager Oz's was cooking up the food were all sales on the day will go back into the fund, there was a a grand raffle and live music on the Saturday night.


Clair Page would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who came and support us on the day thank you.

Report and photos by Paul King Editor Notes : Lilly-May was 5 years old when she suddenly collapsed and tragically died when being collected by her mum and nan at school on 15th May 2014.


Lilly-May suffered a sudden cardiac arrest.

An AED (automated external defibrillator) is an emergency life-saving device that can be used by anyone to restart the heart when sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) strikes.


The device is fully portable and gives the heart an electrical charge to establish a regular heartbeat. The AED will only shock when necessary.
