Brighter Futures for Children

Elections to the Reading Youth Council are due to take place in January 2022

There are 20 spaces available which will be divided between the following four areas of Reading: North (RG4), South (RG2), East (RG1, RG6) and West (RG30, RG31).

Any pupil aged between 11 and 18 on 1 January 2022 from any Reading school is eligible. More details are available on the Youth Zone of the BFFC website.

Annual conference on 28 January 2022 Reading Youth Council is holding its annual conference at the University of Reading on 28 January 2022, 9.30am–3pm.

The conference is a chance for young people across Reading to come together and discuss issues of importance to them and to help plan the youth council’s priorities for the coming year.
