Dear Reading community

We like to Thank everyone who made donations. We would also like to Thank Reading Brough council for your sponsorship grant very much appreciated everyone.

We would like to let the community know where we currently stand, and this will be explained more at AGM meeting at The mapp centre formly known as Apollo Friday 28th February 2025 @ 7:30 till 9:30pm.

Reading Caribbean Nation C.I.C the Host of Reading carnival 2025 are a non- for -profit community interest company. So this means everything we do is for interest of our community.

With no self gains.

We want to rebuild the Caribbean community of Reading to the former state, where our parents and Grand parents left a legacy, worked hard and put up a fight for. Let's not die out in vain.

We are the last generation who can tell our history and Reading carnival is apart of that legacy. We lost some great people in the last 5 years.

We want to make carnival sustainable without reliance on grants to much. At the moment this is what telling us if we can have carnival or not.

We want a successful company made by us, owned by us and sustained by us.

Lets remember saying it takes a village to raise a child that is the same village or town needs help to make carnival bigger & better with a hub where we maintain our history.

We need you our community to make this happen.

Let's build not destroy our community.

Time is now together stand divided We Fall.
