Message from the Chandler Family:
It is with great sadness that we are sharing the news that our family member Rodney Chandler has passed away. Born and bred in Reading and the third child of John & Una Chandler, Rod was the proud father of Samuel and Josie, partner to Mary and brother to Colleen, Nigel, Esther, Jocelyn and Louise plus extended family.
Loved by all of his family and all who knew him near and far. He'll be remembered for his passion for football (as a local player, known as 'Sleepy'), love of music in all forms and interests in the arts and current affairs. We'll be sharing the details of a service to celebrate his life at a later date but in the mean time, please keep us all in prayers and thoughts.
We are all very grateful for the condolences and support we have received to date.
