Jah Shaka, also known as the Zulu Warrior. Jamaican Roots Rock Reggae & Dub Legend Sound System Selecta, Ras Tafari Man was born in Clarendon Parish, Jamaica. Produced Roots Reggae Stars like Reggae Vivian Jones, Toots Hibbert, Everton Blender, Barrington Levy, Freddie McGregor and many many more.

Jah Shaka started out on the Freddie Cloudburst Sound System as an operator before setting up his own, from the 1960s.

By the late 1970s Jah Shaka's Sound System System had rapidly gained a large and loyal following worldwide due to the combination of Spirituality, Pure Energy, and Great Selection of Songs and Music with a dynamic style of his own.

He became and is certainly One of The Greatest Sound System Selecta, for the Singers and Players of Instruments ever.

He sadly Transcended this Sun Rise, Wednesday 12th April 2023.
