*INTERNATIONAL NEWS*EID MUBARAK

WISHING EVERYONE AN AWESOME EID ACROSS THE SEAS

In my heart I'm wishing everyone a fantastic Eid Mubarak !

However, I can't stop thinking of those in the Middle East who won't be sharing such good times as my neighbours here in the UK.

I know that Palestine are starving, along with Yemen, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Rwanda to name some of the countries where Muslim's reside. They won't be sharing foods together such as they did last year.

So, to say that it is a *happy Eid Mubarak* when I know it is not and when I know many will be sharing the same sad feelings I feel. There are also many in the UK who are hungry and starving and homeless. No one should be without the bare essentials and a roof over their heads.

So, to watch a country that is undergoing genocide and know that this is not the only country going through such atrocities in 2024 and at a time where there is such wealth in the world is unforgiveable.

To not be able to pray together in peace is a crying shame !

HERE IS WHAT I LEARNT

JUST TO CLARIFY...

One of my Tik Tokers that I follow clarifies in simple words .. Gaza

Reading Caribbean Express News, Reading Palestine Rally group and Reading UK Peace Protesters have been protesting for years in their task of seeking peace for Palestine and the Gaza Strip… Their protests are not new..

Mothers and children took to the road in Reading by riding their bikes around Reading UK in highlighting the support of the mothers and children in Palestine.

And so to conclude, in short my feelings about my brothers and sisters across the sea, another one of my favourite Tik Tokers expresses her feelings about the situation in Gaza and the cheeky way that those with the power, sticks a dagger further in ones heart. The following video sums up my feelings..

TO CONCLUDE

Palestine is not the only country going through these atrocities. There are many people in many countries like Congo, Sudan, Haiti, Yemen and Rwanda to name a few who are enduring such as seen in Palestine.

Palestine has been in the press because of its 140 + journalist and media staff who were killed and journalists who are by the grace of God still alive and those using their phones and risking their lives to bring up to minute news from the Gaza region.

It has taken time to write the above without feeling helpless and tearful that there is no help or support for those who are unable to defend themselves.

It is unforgivable that to date there has been ;-

Children killed - 14,520.00

People killed - 33,970.00

People that cannot be found, buried 76,700.00

Children died of malnutrition - 31

People detained in prison - 8,270.00

2 million displaced

The only reason that these figures can be shared with you today is because of news media such as Aljazeera, more and more people are turning away from the mainstream media in the west because the news 'may not' be accurate in its delivery of news.

Reading Caribbean Express News will be sharing more from Gaza, this is to share with you what is happening in Palestine to clear up that this genocide has nothing to do with religion and more to 'land-grabbing' a land that was never yours in the first place.

*There will be a full documentary about Palestine in the coming months.

*In the meantime. there will be more in-depth international news about other countries that are living in conflicted countries.
