People are likely to see an increased police presence as Thames Valley Police works to ensure security ahead of Her Majesty the Queen’s official birthday on Saturday (12/06) and also the safety of the visit to Windsor of the President of the United States on Sunday, and also the kick off of the Royal Ascot (18 /06).
Fire arms officers have been out on patrol in Windsor, and specialist searches have been taking place at the Ascot Racecourse.
This work is all part of the security measures taking place to keep residents, and visitors to the Thames Valley safe.
