The ever-popular Children’s Festival. returns this weekend, with events and activities taking place from Saturday 11 May until Sunday 2 June. 

Children's Festival gets off to an exciting start with Forbury Fiesta this Saturday, 11 May, in Forbury Gardens which will be transformed into an Olympic-themed arena where there will be something for everyone to get involved with. Activities include:

• Going for Gold! Join Jelly for an Olympic-inspired workshop and make a medal

• Badminton and archery taster sessions with Sport in Mind

• Timed obstacle courses with BETTER

• Cycle courses and free bike safety checks with Avanti Cycling

• 
  

Forbury Fiesta will be followed by three weeks of exciting low cost family events across Reading, including creative arts and crafts, karaoke, free Thames river cruises for under 14s and sporty activities such as kayak taster sessions.
