Labour’s leadership have backed Israel to the hilt to carry out genocide in Gaza. In lockstep with the Conservative Government, they cheered on and pumped up Israel to unleash an orgy of death and destruction on an already besieged population, even justifying starving civilians of water, food, medicine, fuel. A second Nakba is being perpetrated before our very eyes with the forced displacement of more than a million.
State terrorism and barbarism on an industrious scale, shattering all international humanitarian laws and casting aside all norms of humanity. Labour, in lockstep with the Conservatives, continue to ardently oppose a ceasefire.
At the time of writing this release, more than 11,078 have been killed in Gaza, including 4,506 children and 3,027 women. More than 27,490 were injured, including 8,663 children and 6,327 women. We don’t know how many are still under the rubble. In the West Bank, more than 183 killed, including 44 children; more than 2,400 injured.

With the genocidal slaughter of Palestinians continuing unabated, and no call for a ceasefire and accountability of Starmer from Matt Rodda MP, the sheer affront of this Blood Money Raiser to Reading’s Pakistani Community is breathtaking!
With the genocidal slaughter of Palestinians continuing unabated, and no call for a ceasefire and accountability of Starmer from Matt Rodda MP, Reading’s Pakistani Community are outraged by this Blood Money Raiser booked to take place at their community centre!
Reading’s Pakistani Community, alongside all the wider communities of Reading, and the International Community (in it’s most real sense) have marched every week for the past 4 weeks (and will continue to march) in solidarity with Palestine, peacefully protesting and continuing the call for an immediate and full ceasefire; to end the genocide; to end the Nakba; to end the occupation; to uphold justice for the Palestinians; which is the only way to bring about peace. Reading’s Pakistani Community, alongside all the wider communities of Reading, will come out to vociferously oppose this Blood Money Raiser taking place at their community centre, or anywhere else in Reading for that matter.
Important Note: The leadership of the Pakistan Community Centre was contacted directly on 4th November to feedback the anguish and concern of Reading’s Muslim communities requesting them to cancel the event.
The PCC Leadership responded immediately to distance themselves from Labour’s Blood Money Raiser event stating that they will not attend but that this is a booking they cannot cancel. Furthermore, they have approved for the community to make their voices heard against this event.
