This is a message received by a community member who is concerned that many travel without Insurance and he wanted to emphasise to the the community
The Tharell Thompson appeal is a worthy one, and I have donated to the fund. However, the message that should get across very strongly is the need for everyone who is travelling to a different country to take out adequate travel insurance to cover medical and other issues.
Too many of us willingly fork out over £1000 for the trip but resent paying an extra £50 for travel insurance to protect us while we are abroad.
I feel very strongly about this. We need to take responsibility for our own actions. If you agree, perhaps you can promote this message to your readers.
